Do I need to have an account with ShelfKey to buy products online?
You do not need to have an account with "ShelfKey" to order online; however, there are advantages of having an account with us! Viz :

•  Save your personal information, eliminating the need to retype it each time you make a purchase.
•  View your "Order History", and review your purchases.
•  Track shipments and check any previous shipment delivery details.
•  View the status of any pending shipments.
•  Print out invoice copies.
•  Receive important updates
   All of these options save you time and registration is FREE!

How do I register with ShelfKey?
To register with shelf key click here. All blocks marked with asterisk must be filled in to process your registration. After you complete registration, an email is sent to the email you provided to confirm your account.

What should I do if I forget my username / password?
Your username is same as the email id used to create the account. To retrieve your password, go to the Login page and click on the “forgot password” button.    You will receive an email containing a temporary password.

How do I change my password?
Login to your account and click on the “change password” button and you will be redirected to the change password page.

How do I change my billing / shipping address?
Login to your account and click on the “edit profile” button and you will be redirected to the edit profile page.

Can I have the shipping address different from the billing address?
Yes there is a provision to enter a different shipping address.

How do I know if my order has been confirmed?
Once your order has been logged, an email listing the item(s) you have ordered along with a unique Order Indenting. Number OIN and a verification code is sent to the email address you provided us. Once the payment authorization has been received, the order processing begins.

How do I know the status of my order?
You will be notified by email when the item(s) have been shipped to you. Shipping details will be provided with the respective tracking number(s).
 
When will my order be shipped?
All orders placed before the cutoff time (which is 12:00 PM IST) are generally shipped on the next day. Orders received after the cutoff time is shipped on the second business day. However our commitment of shipping is with in 4 Business days once the payment is credited to our bank accounts.

What is the estimated delivery time?
For the item(s) in stock the delivery time is 2-3 business days. For non-stock item(s) or for item(s) exceeding the available stock, which are pre booked, the delivery time is intimated by email.

When do you ship orders received on Saturday or Sunday?
Orders received on Saturday, Sunday or any public holiday will be shipped the next business day.
 
What shipment options are available?
We have the following shipment options

•  Professional Courier
•  Personal pick up at our office

Can I view my past orders?
Yes you can view your past orders by clicking on the order history button after logging in.

Can I create a schedule order online?
We currently do not support this functionality to enter a scheduled order on our website. To place scheduled orders please contact us.

Are there any hidden costs in the item(s)?
There are no hidden charges. The prices listed for all the items are final and all-inclusive. The price you see on the website is exactly what you pay. Shipment charges may vary depending on the option selected.

Can I order an item that is out of stock?
When you order a product that is out of stock or exceeds the available stock, it redirects you to a “Request a Product” page where in you can send a request for the quantity required. In the description space you can mention the time frame in which the item(s) are required.

How do I delete an item from the cart?
Go to the cart, select the item (part number) it redirects to “Add Item” page where in the delete option is available.

How do I modify the quantity of an item from the cart?
Go to the cart, select the item (part number) it redirects to “Add Item” page where the quantity can be modified and then click the update button.

Can I save my shopping cart and complete my order later?
Yes, you can save the cart by clicking on the “Save this Cart” button and you can complete the order at a later date.

How do I print my order?
Go to the order status page; select the order by entering the order number and then click the “Print order” button provided on the page.

How do I cancel my order?
Go to the order status page; select the order by entering the order number and then click the “Cancel this Order” button provided at the bottom of the page. Cancellation can be done only on orders that have not been paid. For more information please read the "Terms and Conditions ".

What is customer reference? How can it be used?
This field is for use by you and your company staff only.   For example, you can type in your internal part number for each item in the customer reference field. Customer reference will appear on all the invoices and order packing slips.
 
How can I get a quote for item(s)?
Select the item(s) that you require, add to cart and simply click on the button “Send this as a Quote”.

How do I search for an item?
In the home page there is a field marked Keywords / Part No. which allows you to search for an item. You may input the manufacturer part number or Product description in this field.

What payment options are available?
We offer you multiple payment options. Our trusted payment gateway partners use secure encryption technology to keep your transaction details
confidential at all times.We accept payments made using Visa, MasterCard and Maestro credit / debit cards.
You may also use internet banking to make payments.

Is it safe to use credit / debit card on ShelfKey?
All credit card and debit card payments on ShelfKey are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways managed by leading banks. Banks now use the 3D secure password service for online transactions, providing an additional layer of security through identity verification.

Do you have volume discounts?
Yes, click on the item to find out the discounts offered for higher volumes.

Does ShelfKey have promotional offers?
Yes, the item(s) offered under promotions are listed in the website. Search with a keyword “promotional” items

What if the payment gateway gives an error ?
In the unlikely events of payment gateway error, due to internet connectivity problems, or any other technical snags, where-in the payment is debited from the customer accounts, and still no order confirmation is received, the payment will be reimbursed to you by the payment gateway in 72 Hours.
